Workshops and events

I love any excuse to celebrate the art of words and pictures, so I am always keen to take part in special events.

Fred and I have shared a stage with Frank Cottrell Boyce at the Ha’Penny Readings at St George’s Hall in Liverpool, a traditional annual event established by Charles Dickens.

We have attended the Cheshire Woman of the Year awards at the home of the Duke Of Westminster, officially opened a new school library and had great fun at family days organised by employers for their staff.

I have created costumes for a Vogue Ball, made props such as a storyteller’s hat for literature festivals, recreated a bride and groom as miniature puppets for their wedding cake and produced comic strips for a conference presentation.

Fred has even been projected on a giant scale on the exterior of Liverpool Central Library as part of its re-opening ceremony and was chosen as one of the characters to be projected onto the exterior of the library for Liverpool Light Night.

Fred and his hats were animated on a huge scale for the event, along with other children's characters such as Alice in Wonderland.

Special events demand a really unique level of creativity, and I take great pleasure in working with clients to create something that has never been seen before.

Please see my testimonials page to read some of the good things people have said about me and my work.
